Integration with libraries

The protocol is based on TCP/IP communication. Where the display concentrator, DPI, acts as a server publishing status and type information of all the displays in the network. Each node in the network is identified with a numeric ID, the protocol allows to configure the network to add new nodes or change the IDs.

Integration with libraries includes functions to connect and disconnect with the TCP server, as well as all operations that can be executed on the nodes of the picking network. They also implement a queue for receiving events. Integration with libraries facilitates the programming and diagnostics of picking. Integration with libraries makes it possible to analyze the network status, analyze the nodes, check the system individually or globally and examine any alarms that may have occurred.

Treballadora

Example program

It allows to perform numerous functions that are detailed below and is supplied in open source with the library:

EVENTS: Allows to display the events generated by pressing a key of a display, a digital input or alarm.

DP NODES: It displays the map of connected displays in different colors that allows to identify what type is each one and if there is any error in one of them.

ACTIONS: In this screen it is possible to force the activation Text, Color, Beep of a device or of all the devices (Broadcast) as well as the function of numbering the displays.

ADVANCED: This screen can be accessed through password, since it is possible to perform SETUP functions.
