RETAIL STORE REPLENISHMENT
Put-to-light for retail replenishment provides a highly sophisticated solution specifically designed for distribution centres serving retail stores. The also called pack-to- light or put-to-store optimizes cross-docking operations, in which a percentage of the quantities of full boxes are divided into units/fractions at a store level.
PROCEDURE
The boxes of goods go to the picking area. An operator scans the box and the lights illuminate, the operator makes a quick introduction of the product to the correct box in the store and in the correct quantities. Once the product is placed in the store checkout, the light module is turned off to confirm that it has been completed.
