The DP series products are characterized by high performance modules connected to a powerful and fast picking bus. The communication technology between devices is based on PoE, which allows power supply and communication between devices via a standard RJ45 cable. The devices are connected to the bus in a ring that is closed at the picking interface (DPI) and guarantees redundant communication between devices. With this solution we can guarantee zero downtime during the picking operation.
The main advantage of the DP products lies in the diagnostic capability of the picking network and all its nodes. Through a web server integrated in the picking interface (DPI) the operator is able to analyze the status of the network, configure the DPDs, test the system individually or globally and monitor any alarms that have occurred.
