PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The DPW1 module is an RS232 interface that allows to comunicate external equipment inside the PICKbus. This module fits perfectly to integrate barcode scanners, scales, card readers and other equipment using the RS232 port.
DESCRIPTION
The DPW1 features an internal processor capable of managing the reading of data in RS232C. It is completely transparent to the commands of reading and writing, this facilitates to the programmer the development of the application software.
The module has a power output configurable to 5VDC 1A to power external equipment (commonly used with barcode scanners). It also incorporates a power led and two traffic diagnostic leds to check if there is data in transit between the equipment and the network.
